Winemaker's Notes:
The La Tache and Swan clones produce red fruit and floral notes underpinned by the minerality and structure of the La Cruz terroir. The fruit flavors and a bright acidity predominate now in a complex, evolving wine with the potential to last for years.

Vintage characteristics:
We countered the cool weather of the 2010 growing season by limiting watering near harvest and allowing fruit to hang on vines longer, while monitoring acidity to preserve desired levels. The result is a silky, balanced and feminine wine that we think will be age-worthy.
